KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has launched an online search through its myEPF website, in an effort to contact members aged 75 and above, who have unclaimed contributions.
In a statement today, the EPF said the aim of the exercise is to alert the members concerned or their next of kin, to enable them to withdraw the unclaimed savings.

Members aged 75 and above or their next of kin can conduct the online search via www.kwsp.gov.my

Should their relevant records be found, the members or their next of kin are advised to visit the nearest EPF branch to facilitate the withdrawal of the savings.

Unclaimed contributions in the context of the EPF, are contributions of members aged 75 and above, still with it.

According to the EPF, as a security measure, the online search can only be made through members' EPF or identification card numbers.

Members wishing to search by name, can only do so at the EPF branches.
