WEALTH PRESERVATION
KUALA LUMPUR, April 29 (Bernama) -- Wealth management and financial services provider, CIMB Wealth Advisor (CWA), aims to attract up to 4,000 new customers with the formation of the strategic alliance with As-Salihin Trustee Bhd.

Chief Executive Officer Tan Beng Wah said the alliance with the Islamic estate planning trust company would allow CWA to offer both conventional and Islamic estate planning services.

"This partnership will enable our 4,300 agents and financial planners to serve investors by offering a wide range of Islamic estate planning services," he told reporters after the signing of the strategic alliance on Thursday.

The alliance also opens the door for As-Salihin as they are now able to leverage on CWA's large agency force to distribute their products.

"We are thankful and excited to work with CWA on such a large scale and we hope this is not just a one-off collaboration but an avenue for many more successful projects for both parties.

"With the support of CWA, we are confident our goal to provide Syariah-compliant products and services will be achieved," said Abdul Aziz Peru Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer of As-Salihin Trustee Bhd.

CWA is well-known for its success in wealth management and unit trust investments while as-Salihin's strength is in Islamic estate planning.

In collaboration they provide a full range of Islamic estate planning products and services.

The estate planning solutions offered by CWA will initially focus on individuals and moving forward, it will also be offering the services to companies and corporations.
